  • 1 tsp paprika For seasoning.

For the Fries
  • 2 cups thick-cut fries Cook as directed on the package or as per your preference.
For the Slaw
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup mayo You can substitute with dairy-free yogurt.
  • 1 tbsp vinegar Adds necessary tang.
For Dipping
  • 1/2 cup ketchup For serving.

Preparation
  1. Begin by patting the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  2. Set up a dredging station with flour seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika, beaten egg, and crushed cornflakes.
  3. Coat each drumstick first in flour, then in egg, and finally in cornflakes, pressing down to create an even coating.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Carefully add the drumsticks, cooking in batches if necessary until golden brown and cooked through, about 12-15 minutes for frying.
  3. If baking, preheat the oven to 425°F and place the chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet, baking for 30-35 minutes.
Cooking the Fries
  1. Prepare the thick-cut fries as directed on the package or season and cook until golden.
Making the Slaw
  1. In a bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayo, and vinegar. Toss until well coated.
Serving
  1. Plate the chicken with a generous serving of fries and a scoop of creamy slaw on the side.

Notes
