  • 1 tbsp olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can enhance flavor.
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined Choose firm and slightly translucent shrimp.
  • 2 tbsp butter Can use plant-based alternative for dairy-free.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
For the Seasoned Fries
  • 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries Can substitute with sweet potatoes for a healthier option.
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste salt and black pepper

Method

Prepare the Fries
  1. In a bowl, toss the fries with vegetable oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Season the Steak
  1. Rub each steak with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, ensuring an even coating.
  2. Let the steak rest for 15 minutes to allow flavors to penetrate.
Cook the Steak
  1. Grill or sear the steaks on high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side for a nice char.
Make the Garlic Shrimp
  1. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  2. Stir in the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Finish with lemon juice and parsley.
Assemble the Plate
  1. On a large platter, arrange the steak, garlic shrimp, and crispy fries together.
  2. Garnish with extra parsley for a fresh touch.

Notes

Serve with a crisp side salad or roasted vegetables. A glass of white wine or cold beer pairs wonderfully.
