Seasonings and Condiments

  • 1 tsp paprika For seasoning the steak.
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup creamy yum yum sauce For drizzling on top.

Method

Prepare the Fried Rice
  1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble until just set, then add the cooked rice and soy sauce. Stir until the rice becomes shiny, about 4 minutes.
Cook the Vegetables
  1. Add the zucchini, broccoli, carrots, and mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for about 3 to 5 minutes until the veggies are tender-crisp.
Sear the Steak
  1. In a separate pan, heat olive oil over high heat. Season the cubed steak with paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Sear in the hot oil for about 4 minutes until browned on all sides.
Sauté the Shrimp
  1. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add the shrimp. Cook them until they're a lovely golden color, about 3-4 minutes.
Plate and Serve
  1. On a large plate, layer the fried rice, freshly cooked veggies, seared steak bites, and sautéed garlic shrimp. Drizzle the yum yum sauce over the top and serve immediately.
