Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 250 g steak (sirloin or ribeye) Choose cuts with good marbling for extra flavor and tenderness.
  • 4 pieces eggs Soft-boiled for rich texture.
  • 1 medium avocado Can substitute with other soft fruits for variation.
  • 1 medium onion (sliced into rings) Sautéed for sweetness.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Used for searing the steak.
  • 1 tbsp butter For sautéing the onions.
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Season the steak by generously coating it with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then sear the steak for 3-5 minutes on each side until caramelized.
  3. Remove the steak and let it rest. In the same pan, melt butter and add onion rings. Sauté until golden.
  4. In a separate pot, boil water and gently add the eggs, cooking for 6-7 minutes. Peel and slice the eggs in half.
  5. Slice the avocado and arrange it on a plate with steak, sautéed onions, and sliced eggs.

Notes

Pairs well with a light salad or crusty bread. For a lighter take, grill the steak instead of pan-searing it.
