  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 lb frozen French fries
Salad Ingredients
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for salad)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste (for salad)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer according to package instructions for the French fries.
  2. Toss the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and black pepper in a bowl.
Cooking
  1. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers, sautéing until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the seasoned beef to the skillet, increase the heat to high, and cook until the beef is glossy brown, about 5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Arrange the pepper steak, crispy fries, and garden salad on a plate, drizzling the salad with olive oil and lemon juice just before serving.

Notes

For best results, marinate the beef for 30 minutes before cooking. Serve with crusty bread or steamed rice. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
