Ingredients
Method
Marinate the Steak
- Begin by marinating the sirloin steak in soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper for about 30 minutes.
Searing the Steak
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and sear in the hot pan for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
Rest the Steak
- After searing, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest.
Sauté the Vegetables
- In the same pan, add more oil if necessary and toss in the mixed vegetables. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
Combine with Fried Rice
- Stir in the fried rice, mixing thoroughly with the vegetables.
Add the Steak
- Slice the rested steak into bite-sized pieces and return it to the pan. Gently mix everything together until heated through.
Serve
- Plate your hibachi steak bowl hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet.
