Ingredients
  

For the sausages and mash
  • 4 pieces chicken or turkey sausages Choose fresh, minimally processed sausages.
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped Select firm potatoes for best texture.
  • 2 tbsp butter Can substitute with dairy-free alternatives.
  • 1/4 cup milk Can use milk alternatives.
  • to taste salt & black pepper Essential for seasoning.
For the garden salad
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt For a tangy flavor.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped Enhances freshness.
  • 1 tsp olive oil Light dressing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Once drained, mash the potatoes with butter and milk until creamy and smooth.
  3. While the potatoes cook, grill or pan-sear the sausages on medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. In a bowl, combine cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, sour cream, parsley, and olive oil. Toss to coat.
Serving
  1. Plate the creamy mashed potatoes, add the grilled sausages, and serve with the garden salad.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Salad is best served fresh. Reheat sausages and potatoes gently in the microwave.
