Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 6 pieces chicken drumsticks Look for those with a nice pink hue and minimal excess fat.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
For the Fries
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries Choose firm potatoes that are free from blemishes.
For the Salad
  • 2 cups mixed lettuce
  • 1 cup cucumber slices
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 large red onion, sliced into rings
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Can be substituted with a dairy-free alternative.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup ketchup

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken drumsticks well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or air fryer. Fry or air-fry the potato fries until crispy and golden brown, about 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat. Grill the drumsticks for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally until fully cooked.
Salad Preparation
  1. On a serving platter, arrange the mixed lettuce, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, and red onion rings.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, garlic powder, and lemon juice for the dressing.
Serving
  1. On a large serving plate, serve the grilled drumsticks alongside the crispy fries and vibrant salad, with garlic dip and ketchup on the side.

Notes

Serve with a refreshing lemonade or iced tea. Consider arranging fries in a cone shape for a fun presentation. For best results, avoid preparing the salad too early as it may wilt.
