Ingredients

For the Beef Skewers
  • 500 g beef steak, cut into cubes Look for well-marbled cuts.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Use tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Fries and Salad
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 medium red onion, sliced
  • 4 pieces cherry tomatoes

Method

Marination
  1. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, soy sauce, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Toss in the beef cubes until well coated and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
Skewering
  1. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers, ensuring not to overcrowd them for even cooking.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and juicy.
Frying the Fries
  1. While grilling, heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the potato strips until golden and crispy.
Serving
  1. Arrange the grilled beef skewers on a plate, alongside the crispy fries and fresh salad for a colorful presentation.
