  • 1 cup beef broth Substitute with chicken broth if preferred.
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Use your favorite jarred marinara sauce.
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini) Adjust cooking time based on pasta shape.
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Enhances the pasta flavor.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season to personal preference.
Optional Toppings

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat a deep skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef.
  2. Scoop off extra grease if needed.
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic into the skillet with the beef.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning, then pour in the beef broth and marinara sauce.
  5. Add the pasta, stir well, and cover the skillet.
  6. Simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
  7. Once cooked, stir in optional cheese if using and let it melt.
  8. Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed before serving.

Notes

Use a skillet that heats evenly and keep the lid on to cook the pasta faster. Feel free to add vegetables or different protein sources for variety.
