  • to taste salt Adjust based on preference.
  • to taste black pepper Freshly cracked is best.
  • optional paprika, chili flakes, chopped parsley, lemon zest For added flavor and garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter and quickly sauté shrimp with salt and pepper for about 1 minute per side. Remove to a plate.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in cream and let it warm up. Add cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Add shrimp back in, stir, then spoon into a baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs, parmesan, and a few tiny dots of butter.
  5. Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes until bubbly. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes for extra golden topping, but watch it closely.

Notes

Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to thicken slightly. This dish makes people think you worked harder than you did, which is a bonus!
