Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Lightly flour your countertop and roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Place the salmon fillet in the center of the pastry and spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top.
  5. Carefully fold the pastry over the salmon, sealing the edges tightly, and crimp with a fork to decorate.
  6. Brush the top of the pastry with the beaten egg.
Cooking
  1. Place the wrapped salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before slicing.
