  • 2 tsp paprika Or use smoked paprika for extra flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt Ensure even seasoning.
  • 4 large potatoes Cut into fries.
For the Salad
  • 2 cups lettuce, shredded Adds freshness.
  • 1 piece tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 piece red onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice For dressing.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For the salad dressing.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Coat the drumsticks generously with olive oil and season them with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Baking
  1. Place the drumsticks on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping them halfway, until the skin is golden and crispy.
  2. Against common mistakes, ensure not to overcrowd the pan for crispiness.
Making the Fries
  1. Slice the potatoes into fries and season lightly with salt. Bake them alongside the chicken for about 25-30 minutes until crispy.
Salad Preparation
  1. Combine the lettuce, tomato, onion, olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl. Toss gently to avoid sogginess.
Serving
  1. Arrange the chicken, fries, and salad neatly on a plate, adding a sprinkle of fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For an easy variation, you can add cayenne for spice or replace fries with zucchini sticks for a healthier option. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
