Preparation
  1. Cook the orzo according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and slightly golden, about one minute.
  3. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth along with the heavy cream. Stir gently, bringing to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the cooked orzo and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined and the sauce coats the orzo.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
