Preparation
- Preheat your oven or air fryer for the fries to a temperature between 400°F to 425°F.
- In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil, paprika, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well-coated.
Cooking
- Bake or air fry the French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy, usually around 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the seasoned chicken. Sauté for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes, allowing the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
- Toss the chicken bites in the creamy sauce until well-coated.
Serving
- Plate the chicken bites next to crispy fries. Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
Notes
This recipe can be stored in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for up to three months. To reheat, microwave or sauté on low heat with a splash of cream.
